A food expert said “Thai cooking is about the juggling of disparate elements to create a harmonious finish. Like a complex musical chord it's got to have a smooth surface but it doesn't matter what's happening underneath. Simplicity isn't the dictum here, at all." - David Thumpson (An Australian Chef)
Above statement is true. Thai food may be many things but simplicity is definitely not one of them. That’s why here at Thai Kitchen by Saowane, we always strive to serve freshly prepared meals to every customer. All dishes are made from real ingredients, not from frozen factory-made packages. All types of rolls at our restaurant are hand-rolled by our staff one by one. We don’t use the frozen package, and just fry or reheat them for our customers. All cups of soup are made from scratch with fresh meats and vegetables, and in many cases, with ingredients imported from Thailand. Our Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Garlic & Pepper and Pad Kra Prow, etc are made-to-order with the sauces that Chef O invented and followed his cooking instruction.
We take pride in our cooking. Our chef and cooks put all the effort into preparing Thai food in the way that is supposed to be so that our customers can have Thai food that not only is cooked but also tastes like what it’s in Thailand. Our vision is that when our customers have a chance to visit Thailand and try the food in our town country, they will say “This is just like what I have at Thai Kitchen by Saowane”.
In 2017, seven Thai dishes appeared on a list of the "World's 50 Best Foods", an online poll of 35,000 people worldwide by CNN Travel. Thailand had more dishes on the list than any other country: Tom Yam Goong Soup (4th), Pad Thai (5th), Som Tam (6th), Massaman Curry (10th), Kang Kiew Wan (Green Curry) (19th), Thai Fried Rice (24th) and Nam Tok Mu (36th).
Our customers can enjoy the 1st six dishes here at Thai Kitchen by Saowane.
In 2002 Chef 'O' started his career as a Thai cuisine apprentice in America. He left Thailand for the US with a goal that one day he could open his own Thai restaurant. Working vigorously, he improved his cooking skills, achieved a position of 'Chief of kitchen', and invented his own recipes in three years. Unfortunately, without any signs, he was diagnosed of terminal illness and passed away before seeing his career goal achieved. Thai Kitchen by Saowanee was open by his children who inspired by his aspirational and legacy.
